Cardbox Halloween Child Costume

Find out how to make this simple Halloween costume yet creative. Follow these instructions and you can dress like a butterfly.

Materials needed:

Black Sweatsuit

Antannae Headband

Cardboard

Paint

Black Stretch

Instructions:

Wing cut shapes from cardboard. Hold back the wings who will use it. Make a mark on the wings just above the shoulders and just below each armpit. Make a small hole made in each brand. Paint as desired. You can also decorate with Glitter, sequins, etc. Use your imagination!

Once the wings are dry use a pencil to push the ends of elastic into each hole and tie the ends to secure. Cut two pieces of elastic long enough to fit into the hole under the armpit to the hole just above the shoulder, leaving enough to tie. To use the wings, you should be able to slip each arm of the rubber bands.

For the body of the butterfly, just use a black tracksuit or other black clothing. Painting the face of a color to match the wings. Add a ribbon to boot Antannae!
